About me

As a hang glider pilot for over a decade, I know flying safely means being detail oriented, calm under pressure, and something of a perfectionist. These qualities have served me in both my flying and my writing.

My work merges engaging storytelling, fact-based content, and an easy-to-read style. I help readers understand complex ideas and find practical ways to improve their lives.

I love combining a compelling narrative with research, and take pride in finding quality studies and interview sources for each project.

I hold an MS in journalism from the University of Southern California, where I focused on health reporting. I regularly write for Healthline.com, create and edit content for the U.S. Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association, and previously served as the news section editor for AJET Connect magazine in Japan.
